Grant MacEwan University has a national reputation for providing quality, affordable, student-centred education, with small classes and individualized instruction. Our strengths lie in our student support services, customized options, varied learning formats, and excellent facilities, all of which translate to a better education for you.
The MacEwan University Studies International (MacEwan USI) program has been developed as a final preparation for international students who are looking to eventually begin a bachelor's or an applied bachelor's degree, or to enter one of MacEwan's certificate or diploma career programs.
The MacEwan USI program enables international students to complete admission requirements to the degree, diploma or certificate program they wish to enter at MacEwan. Admission requirements that can be completed include English Language Proficiency and/or high-school course work. While registered in MacEwan USI, students may also undertake course work that will count as credit toward their post-secondary goal program. Candidates are individually assessed and an appropriate academic schedule is developed to meet their needs.
